No matter how we feel about working here, this is a really tough time to be job hunting. I’m truly sorry for everyone affected today, and I still hope the total number of layoffs ends up being small.

@a3 The number from 2024 was 5% . The current target appears to be closer to 3% of the total workforce. But, there is some certainty that another even larger RIF is planned in September primarily affecting engineering.

Did they just pension to get the Reddit group banned right before these layoffs?
@a3 from who? I haven’t heard of Van Nuys being affected and we are starved for work.

I have heard it will be a large number across the company; similar numbers to the layoffs from April 2024.
