Look for work on Upwork and Guru
You need to d-mb down your resume. Work two jobs that pay 20/hr instead of looking for one at 40/hr
The only draw back to contract work is no insurance. Make sure you get them to compensate for the 20% benefits you don’t receive for contract. Otherwise contract gigs are pretty nice. You can get your foot in the door and it is non committal on both sides.
Most likely you are way too picky .. literally get any job while still looking .. unless your toxic or re--rded and no use for society
A friend of mine in the same boat. Finally went back to school to reinvent herself.
@OP, what is your skill set/role/expertise? Some context would help.
Keep plugging away OP, good things will happen for you!!
Your job is now to look for a job, right? Been there, done that.
Perhaps it is time to sign up with a contract company like TekSystems or Apex or any one of the many contract companies that can get you interviews. That was how I got in to WF 14 years ago and became an FTE 6 months into my 12-month contract. Keep the faith!
