I never thought about this before until my girl friend called me tonight and I told her not to call on the weekend as that's my only two days off (I don't think I ever thought of it that way and it seems so limited). I didn't do that before the pandemic, but now I'm protective of my time. The pandemic really has done a number on us all. What happened to "take care of your wellness and take time off"? That's gone. They expect us to return to the old normal, which doesn't exist anymore. Be in five days a week or at least the hybrid model, but even that is monitored. I had more flexibility before the pandemic. I'm seeing much more bullying since I've been back. Old school vs the new school. My opinion? A lot of leaders egos need feeding in person to feel important. There's a definite fight about pre-pandemic vs post. For me, I just want flexibility. Am I productive? Definitely more productive at home. I really don't like the bullying and pressure to be in person. Covid isn't over. Is it just me?

Gosh that's the most privileged comment I've ever heard. Most companies that aren't fortune 100 enforce work at work. Also require you to dress business casual or straight suits.

@2buh I thought that was weird too. If my significant other ever tells me they’re too “whatever” to spend 15 minutes with me on the phone over the weekend that significant other will be promptly kicked to the curb. And is the OP LESS busy during the work week?? Like, that doesn’t even make much sense to me.

Who am I referring to? TC, AC, JD, MM, etc., They want it to return to their world, but that's gone. EGO Land is not a amusement park, as much as you would like it to be.
