Funny, not funny, how Hans has done to Verizon exactly what he did to Ericsson: cut jobs, outsource everything, cut more jobs, make bad decisions and acquisitions, outsource more, oh no the stocks still getting worse, uh-o better cut some more headcount . Well, soon there is nothing left to cut, stock price is horrible, and employees are leaving and customers realize there are less expensive options and move on.
Way to completely ruin another company!

Dennis F. Strigl hands down was the best CEO of this company

He may have been a 5th string QB, but at least he knew what sport we were playing. Hans is lacing up his ice skates.
Lowell succeeded in spite of himself and was the 5th string QB from. Airtouch Communications which was owned by Vodafone and had a non compete agreement with Bell Atlantic. This is the reason Vodafone was part of Wireless and how an questionable competent executive from a tiny company in tinyWestlake Texas could become the man destined to destroy the company. Unfortunately it looks like his hand picked Hans will get to do that for him.
I think he’s a wonderful leader. Just wait and see how his brilliant vision will pay off.
Lowell also got his son a job at VZ
you should be blame lowe mcadams he put hans in that position and under his watch we accumulated all the dent with selling off the cell attennas ,buying mci, buying aol, buying yahoo, buying all the wireless from vodaphone..all mcadams and the board gives him a 60 mil retirement package...duh what do we do now
2nd company he brought to the ground. And I'm sure he'll land another CEO job right after that one. What a career!
