Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Complain

People complain about merchandisers on here a lot but what do you expect. Mondelez pays less than Tim Hortons and Walmart of course you're not going to attract and keep good help. Merchandisers are expected to do sales rep jobs and use there personal vehicle all while getting paid less than a Walmart cashier. F that 😆

Yea it's a joke. I'm always throwing orders and when I'm not I'm working backstock that hasn't been touched in a week. Then I get yelled at for boring using pitcher app enough.. complete joke of a company. If they actually paid the ftow a living wage then maybe we could get and retain good help but they are Soo greedy. You get what you pay for.

When you as an SR are ranked nationally for COC, that’s discriminatory. Why do some parts of the country have coverage for PTO and others do not? My guess is due to managements treatment of people and the simple fact that they cannot retain help. This affects so many quantitative factors that play into rankings and bonuses. This organization is ripe for the picking for anyone or everyone who chooses to challenge them! Big money at stake!

We have no coverage for vacations and summer time absences. The reps have to pick up the merchandiser slack, do their own job ,with silly tasks as checking picture app, and shelf collections. All with 0
Overtime. A good RMS will help out as much as possible, but the math doesn’t work out.

I heard a middle management say that we don't pay for quality (employees) when this issue gets brought up. Let that sink in for a second... Remember, you are employed their too...

Funny thing though, Mondelez management doesn’t feel as though it’s “their” problem, instead it’s “yours”! Your suppose to manage and absorb all the issues surrounding merchandisers, to the point that they hire these people and don’t even train them and expect the reps to pick up the slack. Dirk is grossly over compensated while the boots on the ground are expected to work off the clock. Been this way a very long time! Unless you are a part of the push for change, leave!

You're not wrong and that's part of the overall problem.
