The South Side bakery that made Oreos for generations is no more... Mondelez shut down the 100+yr old plant earlier this year and 500 jobs were gone too. Production is shifting to a newer, “more efficient” facility in Mexico WTF. The most iconic americal snacks will now be made south of the border.
