Anyone hear about layoffs happening in 240 Greenwich St? I’m pretty new to the company roughly 2 years in an entry to mid level role…. Worried about my job being affected. Or do they go after the big dogs first since more $$$? Which offices are laying off?

@cg next notification date is October 20th.
more 240G layoffs coming at least two more rounds for '25. I heard 4x next years what this office scaled back and move the positions to Lake Mary.

25% across the organization are being force ranked below expectations as per HE'S directive.. So if these people get laid off the bank doesn't have to pay severance..So 25% of staff is a round figure.

There is no such thing as Mellon now. Bob ‘The crook’ Kelly was running the firm after the merger. Why don’t you take your gripe up with him.

Bank of New York was ALWAYS the issue, not Mellon.
Bank of New York brought their heaps of red tape, baggage, and culture of misery. This abomination is the result.
It is no wonder Robin is trying to dismember the firm, he is doing the world a favor at this point.

A6 here. You are likely safe for now. But then again, I always expect the worst in here. And it usually is.
Is Risk and Compliance impacted? I am in 240G and very worried because we know our jobs can be done from elsewhere.
Believe it or not, they’ve targeted lower paid people in high cost locations too, but if your new and young, you may be safer than others (unless your entire team is moved offshore)

No but they need to get rid of people there , in PA and india too. All mo--ns getting paid to not know their jobs

How much are you being paid a year? And are you in technology or business side?
The fact you’re in NY is already a knock against.
