Sale Finalized - Job Board Sold to BOLD

The sales are finalized (subject to court approval) and projected to close by the end of the month.

I saw a LinkedIn post by Jeff Taylor (Monster founder) saying that BOLD will provide "offers of employment to no less than 350 FTEs".

I would think that most MGS/MMP employees would directly transfer over to those buyers. After backing out MGS/MMP, my rough math would say that around 800 FTEs are left for the job board. Assuming 350 are retained by BOLD, that would mean that ~450 folks would be let go which is brutal. A big chunk will likely be employees who support the EU business.

Prepare for the worst my friends. :(

Yup and they conveniently updated their severance policy right before filing for bankruptcy. Now anyone let go only gets 2 weeks of severance no matter the years of service. Brutal for folks who've spent years and even decades in many cases.

I’m guessing they’ll retain staff in low cost regions, and also the dept heads in the US.

Interesting times, but who’d want to stick around anyway
