Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

We're being gaslit!

"Our latest VZPulse+ survey clearly indicates that employees who work alongside their colleagues have the highest engagement and satisfaction"

Sam said that in her video and it was repeated in the email... they aren't just stupid and honestly misinterpreting the pulse survey results. They know what employees think and want, but they want all the employees dissatisfied about all the RTO cr-p to think you are alone in your dissatisfaction, while they push forward with these initiatives that have turned a once great employer into a dumpster fire.

@10x “We pressured your managers into pressuring you to show up for Hub events, and snapped pictures of you having “fun” to drive the narrative that you all are dying to come back to the office.”

I think they do not truly understand what "engaged employee" actually means. What they are doing is going to have the opposite effect.

Bunch of crybaby losers. We were all in the office everyday before Covid. Time to get back to the office and actually work. No more 5 day weekends. Too many people running daycare centers and side jobs taking away from productivity. A change has to be made to trim the fat.

Wow, imagine having to actually show up to the office and actually work. VZ is losing billions paying for you to play golf and go on Costco runs. RTO and actually work.

I so wanted to comment on the video & say “this is called being gaslit, just be honest & tell us you are looking for ways to reduce US headcount because your $8.8B isn’t enough to get the yachts the C-Suite wants.”

@as One commenter in the video made a good point, how do they know that the highest engaged and satisfied workers are the ones in office? Was that a question in the pulse? if not, then so much for the "anonymous" survey.

'“Gaslit” stfu and do your job. I bet you’re the same dummy that claims your work environment is “toxic” because you don’t get along with someone that no one else cares about. If you’re looking for drama go work at T-T.'

Update your resume, your job is also on thin ice.

Read comments under this video and 1-star ratings, not a single one favorable to that decision. I applaud people who honestly and openly say what they think there. Unfortunately nobody cares and nothing will change

non-mgmnt employees in my area have the option of, and have been for a long time, reporting to the office if they so choose...It IS an option for those that would like to do so.
