Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

I wouldn't trust AT&T Leadership to feed a dog!

AT&T screws up everything they touch. Leadership will even sc--w up simply feeding a dog.

Someone in HR provided this analogy:
Stankey gets the idea to buy up the companies making dogfood. He immediately visits all his new acquisitions and informs the leadership they'll make dog food according to his instructions. His "proven" recipe. Although he's personally never made dog food before, he knows a lot more about it than they do. Just ask him.
Leadership at the dog food companies push back and Stankey immediately fires them and brings in AT&T leadership to run the dog food companies using his dog food formula.
Not long after producing Stankey's proven dog food formula, dogs everywhere eating his dog food begin to die. Stankey brushes it off as bad ingredients his executives bought. He sends out threatening emails to AT&T's dog food leadership to fix the problem or else they'll be fired. They scramble to ensure they're buying top quality ingredients. They hire more QA staff. Upgrade factory technology.
Dogs everywhere continue to die that eat his dog food.
Staney fires them all and brings in new T executives.
Dogs still continue to die. Class Action Lawsuits are filed from dog owners whose dogs have died eating his dog food. The BOD fights all lawsuits and continues to allow Stankey to own and run dog food companies. More dogs die.
After millions of dogs have died eating Stankey's dog food, the Stank informs the AT&T BOD producing dog food is no longer viable since they are now having to pay to settle the class action lawsuits because people are stupid and don't know how to feed their own dogs. It's not his fault he's the only one who knows dogs, but he wants all this to go away, and the best way is to sell the companies.
Stank sells all dog food companies for pennies on the dollar, thereby losing billions of dollars.
And because the company lost billions of dollars in the failed dog food arena, the company has to layoff thousands of employees.

Perfect. I am friends with some c-suite hbo guys. They knew 10 minutes after meeting him he would sc--w it up. Of course shareholders got screwed. And almost no one believed a reverse Morris split was anything other than a feel good for taxes. Hands down the worse ceo at $T. And I don’t work there. Just here for mockery.

Sitting in the basement with no life and this is the incoherent blather you can come up with? No wonder AT&T got rid of you.

Just wondering why AT&T won't feed the dog. What kind of dog are you talking about?

Laid off workers that are not needed. That's how you run a company.

Not surprised. You probably are in a management role that is completely redundant and unnecessary. Perfect target for cost savings.

Well, They feed themselves so you seem mistaken.

T Stock price tends to suggest otherwise.
