I love how fixated people are on WARN notices.
If you haven’t realized it yet: no major corporation is going to issue a WARN notice. WARN was designed to favor mega-corporations that can axe 1000 people here and there while still maintaining 98% of the work force so they don’t have to issue a notice. Grow some brain wrinkles. There will never be a WARN notice.
Columbia, MD by year-end
Managers and engineering in Clifton already know they are toast. Some will encounter familiar faces when they seek new jobs. Not all will be friendly. Old wounds have not healed. Payback is a bi--h for brown nosing rats.
@ah Any idea which part or location of SAS?
SAS is getting some in August/September prior to Q3. They are picking the names, and this layoff will be heavy, mostly for Managers and Senior managers. The corporation saw a huge saving here to keep SAS floating. Will not issue a WARN notice similar to March and June layoffs.
SAS is getting hit, thanks to your wonderful VP who doesn't care about people. L3Harris is guaranteed late, not meeting requirements, and over budget. Chris needs to be replaced ASAP.
