In California, can unemployment be filed on the last day of the notice period or does it have to be the next business day? Any former CA employees have advice to share? TIA!

@e0 or just stupidity because tye OP doesn't know how to figure it out on their own. I would bet, CA has a website where the form is answering this question. Next question will be can someone else fill out the form.
@d2 it may be faster in terms of time on task to ask here. Efficiency, not torpitude.
You can file on the last day of your employment. There is. 1 or 2 week waiting period after you file. your payment will arrive on week 3 unless there is an issue with your claim.
The laziness of people on this board is unreal- no wonder you are being laid off. It would take all of five minutes to research this yourself.
