Doubt all you like, but it is true. I’m not going to post it, or go into details because that could basically single me out to those wondering. Understand, it’s not a job most would qualify for, it’s a unique set of skills that require a perfect track record of a decade+. I did not pursue, because I really don’t want to go through the process when my attention for the future is geographically elsewhere.

WF had the same job paying $100k more? And the commute wasn’t worth $100k more? Ha, I seriously doubt that
And yet, the bank’s most profitable year and largest jump in profit…was when we were all WFH, and was before interest rates spiked.
Layoffs? Lay off the useless middle managers who offer nothing to the bottom line, let the workers get back to working from where they clearly demonstrated they work best for the company.
It’s just stupid to waste money on an office building that nobody wants to be in. As long as the work gets done on time, professionally and correctly, who cares from where? That said….how many time have I had a conversation with our help team that barely speak English, or do so with such a thick accent that I can’t understand 90% of what they are saying.
Several groups at BofA have had 4 days/week since 2021.
Our group in Global Trading for one and there are others.
If I’m going to return 4/5 days, then I’m going to get paid for it, and will be leaving this place. WF had a job posting for my current role that paid $100k more than I get now, but the commute was difficult, and I am not wanting another job in my market in general. I am wanting to leave my market for a different one in a couple of years. But if going back 4/5 is going to happen before then, I’m out and will be hunting this office instead of helping it.
This bank CEO just decided to let it be up to the leaders… the ADULTS that he works with. THIS IS LEADERSHIP!

No doubt it's coming. I'm thinking we get the email October/November to tell us 4 or 5 days in office starting 01/02/2026.

What is TD?
I’m so nervous about it. I know management is looking at it but haven’t heard if any decisions made.
