Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

This is going to leave a mark!

T-Mobile is best in price and value
AT&T is next
Verizon is last.

And you whine about going back to the office. You should be fired! What value do you bring to the company?

To determine which carrier—T-Mobile, AT&T, or Verizon—offers the best monthly plan based solely on monthly cost, I’ll compare their cheapest unlimited postpaid plans for a single line, as these are the most directly comparable options. Prices include autopay discounts where applicable, but exclude taxes and fees unless otherwise noted. The data is sourced from recent analyses of carrier plans.

### Cheapest Unlimited Plans for One Line

  • T-Mobile Essentials Saver: $50/month with autopay. Includes unlimited talk, text, and data (50GB premium data), unlimited 3G hotspot, and talk/text/2G data in Mexico and Canada. Taxes and fees are extra.
  • AT&T Value Plus: $50.99/month with autopay. Offers unlimited talk, text, and data in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, with unlimited texting to 200+ countries. No hotspot data included, and speeds may slow during network congestion. Taxes and fees are extra.
  • Verizon Welcome Unlimited: $65/month with autopay. Provides unlimited talk, text, and data on Verizon’s 5G Nationwide network, with talk/text/data in Mexico and Canada (2GB high-speed data/day, then 3G). No hotspot data included, and speeds may slow during congestion. Taxes and fees are extra.

### Analysis

  • T-Mobile offers the lowest price at $50/month, slightly edging out AT&T’s $50.99/month. T-Mobile’s plan also includes unlimited 3G hotspot data, which AT&T and Verizon’s cheapest plans lack, adding a slight value advantage.
  • AT&T is very close in cost at $50.99/month but doesn’t include hotspot data, making it less feature-rich than T-Mobile’s offering for a marginally higher price. It does, however, offer unlimited texting to over 200 countries, which may appeal to some users.
  • Verizon is the most expensive at $65/month, significantly higher than both T-Mobile and AT&T. It provides access to Verizon’s reliable network but lacks hotspot data and has fewer perks compared to T-Mobile’s plan.

### Conclusion
Based solely on monthly cost, T-Mobile offers the best plan with its Essentials Saver at $50/month. It’s the cheapest option and includes additional features like 3G hotspot data, making it a strong value choice for a single line.

Note: Costs can vary based on additional lines, promotions, or specific needs (e.g., international features or premium data). For multiple lines, T-Mobile’s Essentials Saver drops to $25/line for four lines ($100/month total), compared to AT&T’s Unlimited Starter at $35.99/line ($143.96/month for four) and Verizon’s Welcome Unlimited at $30/line ($120/month for four). Always check carrier websites for current promotions or discounts (e.g., for military, seniors, or first responders).

Who’s should be fired? We’re not whining. We’re just disgusted. We cleanup fire drills and messes all day.
It starts at the top. Their bad decisions are the problem , not middle management's. Who thought it was a good idea to take away a perpetual discount that was given to a customer? Who thinks it a good idea to outsource customer service? Who thinks it’s a good idea to buy back a company we sold off before? Who thought blue jeans was a good idea? Who thought spending millions on a rebrand would actual impress customers? Who thinks it’s a good idea to open a new office in NYC when there already is one there? Who thinks it’s a good idea to keep throwing promos at customers, why not just lower the base prices?

"What value do you bring to the company?"
