Hmm. Two year ago the same situation occurred. I wonder if the NetSuite leadership does not understand the market Acumatica and Epicor seemed to have figured it out with no layoffs.

@gk There's also Account Executive, Technical Support, Functional Support, Developers, and Customer Success available. If anyone else is interested in those opportunities, please let me know
Are you looking to stay in a Solutions Consultant role in the ERP market? I work at Odoo who is actually a competitor in the SMB market. Here's a link to the open role we have in SF: https://www.odoo.com/r/LiYB We're in the middle of an aggressive hiring cycle not only there but in Buffalo, NY. While this might be a negative time for you, there's also a potential opportunity. Please feel free to message me if you want to learn more about the role and company.
That sounds terrible
@a7 critical thinking is key here. You think anyone of the people laid off have any power over pricing? Execs make these decisions - both in how much to charge you but also who to lay off. Coming here with this attitude is just very unkind to the people that were affected.
When will Sales leadership be held accountable? Bad pitch for starter being sold and now is going away? Seems like NS fails to hold leadership accountable for bad decisions
@b1 Do you know name of the researcher? where were they based? i am a researcher myself, curious if i know them
@bt was there for 5 years. Getting 7 weeks.
I know about 25 people so far, and the numbers are growing.
AI > People
Lol.
@bv what is ML?
A lot in sales were fired.
Yup laid off despite working on ML. Got exceeded expectations in FY 26 Goals but still let go
What was the severance package?
@b2
Also Canadians, all types of roles and levels
@b6 very sorry to hear that, we have some great ex-NetSuite folks at Ramp and are hiring good SC's if you are interested! Best of luck either way.
I know of a colleague who laid off from product design
Sad to hear. Did your get severance at least?
10 years as a Solutions Consultant and let go today. 5 min phone call at 8:50 am and lost all access on my laptop at 9 am. Had no chance to say farewell to a variety of folks or save anything related accolades, positive feedback, support for future opportunities.
@aq
I know several employees laid off today from Oracle NetSuite
Widespread layoffs across the entire NSGBU. All roles. I don't know percentage of headcount. Americas only. Europe and Asia still to come.
@a9 Only two I’m personally aware of were a UX designer and a user researcher.
Same here. Redwood Shores.
I know 2 people that got laid off today, longtime employees at Oracle who moved to Netsuite.
3 Years at NetSuite as a Project Manager and was let go today.
I was laid off this morning - NetSuite professional services (implementation). I have had contact with 1 other from my area but have heard there were others. 10+ years with NetSuite.
I know of 4 people so far who were laid off this morning; all in Engineering or Product.
Confirming my husband was laid off today from Netsuite, out of Redwood Shores.
What roles were cut?
LOWER your prices and you will have more people lookat/buy your product. $60 million company/yr and your product is priced way too high to start and all the nickel and dime module BS. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. One fee all modules. Maybe I should be a CMO.
Yep can confirm, I just got laid off today from NetSuite.
