It is what it is. A way to pretend they care about the culture they have created and make themselves feel better about the fact that it feels like a shrinking ship.

The questions are written so the answer is either that you are happy or that your direct manager is terrible. Obviously that’s intentional. Also some of the scales switch through the survey. So 1-5 then in the same spot 5-1 type switch. So you can easily make a mistake. Again, this stuff is intentionally done.

Nobody wants to hear nothing…

game is all abt a bunch ex chase chasing chase that is what wfc has come to …

If a leader asks tough questions always flip it back to assess and measure him on if he is doing those..there is a lot of hypocrisy floating around and you can’t let others give it to you whe. You are the ones letting this bank survive.

Thanksless leaders we got!!

k4 I can’t even count the wasted hours spent on “action plan” nonsense in my group. I don’t take it either. Nothing drives managers crazier than low participation rates. Ours will hold meetings where he literally begs us to do it. Nope. If we have to suffer so does he.

@fk
Yup, haven't taken that cr-p survey in 4 years now.
I was on one of those action item pointless meetings garbage when our area came out with bad ratings. Was a sh-tshow. After those meetings and takeaways, nothing came out of it. It all just faded away.

@jf Where do you think all the psychological abuse information is coming from. Amy Edmundson case study of psychological abuse is in her first book, "The Fearless Organization" and will be soon in a latest book. Whether the organization abuses its clients (ala Wells Fargo account scandal) or its employees (ala is a new field of study. Guys keep disclosing your unfair treatment, the inconsistent policies, etc. We are building one heck of an AI model to be a basis of management intelligence. https://www.hbs.edu/faculty/Pages/profile.aspx?facId=6451

An entire Harvard MBA class could be taught entitled "What NOT to do in business" and focus solely on the WFC sh-t-show. The class would teach itself!

Are the C-Suite creatures still lecturing everyone about return to office while on Teams calls from their HOME offices or vacation spots? I thank God daily I got out of that toxic place in one piece.

Did they ask if you had a best friend at work? Very impactful question. Once again I didn’t take the survey

It doesn't matter how you answer, they will claim they heard exactly what they wanted to hear and abuse us accordingly.

Don’t forget about the Wells Fargo worker that pulled a g-n on a Burger King employee because they got her drink order wrong. Guess the race.

Remember the HR department is at least 10 years behind -- just like tech. Sure the consultants launch their programs, such as Wells Life. This place is like an addict. Until they realize that no matter what they do they are addicted to being bullies, to being psychologically abusive, they will remain behind.

They know how to skew the questions so that they receive what they want to hear. Remember, these ba----ds live in an echo chamber and REQUIRE their egoes to be stroked. They can't deal with actual survey results in which the truth is told.

Bottom line, they knew the answers to this survey before it was even launched.

Everyone knows better than to say anything negative, because they will be punished with endless pointless meetings, required to create “action plans” that do nothing but waste time, etc.
And of course the survey is not anonymous, so anything you say can and will be used against you.
So of course it’s what they want to hear.

@a2 because they obviously don't care about either of those.

Anyone who has taken a social sciences statistics class knows this survey is horribly constructed to function as a propaganda campaign.

Of course. It’s the way the questions are worded. Unless you have a horrible team or leader you’re going to be positive.

What they don’t ask is how horrible it is to get things done. Or morale
