Let’s cut through the PR. What has Hans Vestberg actually accomplished?
At Ericsson, he left behind falling sales, lost market share, and scandals that dragged on long after he left. Not exactly a winning legacy.
At Verizon, it’s been the same pattern: billions wasted on bad media bets, 5G hype that never paid off, customers leaving, and layoffs rebranded as “transformation.” The stock barely moves except to pay a dividend, which is the only thing Wall Street still cares about.
So here’s the question no one at PR wants to answer: does that track record really deserve millions in pay?
Because when you strip it down, Hans isn’t building anything. He’s just cashing in while the company drifts.
My Leaders empower me.
Only in the corporate playbook does cutting 31% of your workforce get passed off as leadership. Anyone can shrink a company — the hard part is growing it. Hans gets the credit for reducing headcount, but not the blame for reducing value.
You’ve got to give it to Hans — he walked away from Ericsson right before the billion-dollar bribery scandal exploded, never faced indictment, and somehow landed the top job at Verizon. Since then the stock has sunk, the workforce has been gutted, yet he’s pocketed $24 million a year. That’s not vision, that’s survival skills. The clown may not lead, but he sure knows how to stay in the tent.
FFS, Hans is everything BUT a good guy.
Hans is a good guy.

Breakthroughs?
Go90 coming back?
I do think it’s great we’re back together. Some of our best ideas have come from being able to talk, live, through an issue and bring up challenges to ideas. We had several breakthroughs in the office yesterday. It’s also a plus that many of us like collaborating in person.
Only 12 losers.. I do not even know if all of them are Verizon employees
