For all you current v-teamers, it’s confirmed that office attendance IS being monitored and tracked. Three days isn’t so bad; don’t ruin it for everyone you scofflaws.

@10v no, but I’d deprive my coworkers of my presence in exchange for full benefits
Even if you could, why deprive yourself and fellow v-teamers of the full benefits of in-person presence?
We believe that our teams perform best when we are together - communicating, collaborating, and upholding the best parts of our company culture.
You may be able to cheat out of an in-person day or two here or there, but you will only end up cheating yourself. The rest of the workforce will leave you behind.
"So if you are out on a Mon and Tues, does it mean you have to go in the other 3 days?"
Yes. Three days each week, exclusive of being out on other days.
"If you take a whole week of vacation, are you exempt from 3 days that week?"
No. Your unaddressed in-office days will roll forward and you will have two weeks after your return to clear your deficit.
Will we get insight on how PTO affects the 3 days a week rule?

@c8
but but but, that is TL's FIEFDOM!
He rules the world but always a bit afraid of being discovered how little he actually knows! Kiss the Ring, though, and you'll go far!!!!
When you swipe in to use the teleport from the underground garage in BR, there is a camera on you too - all of the transporters have 'em, have been there for a few years. So, they get the swipe of the badge (that has your pic on it) AND you in the camera.
Make sure you say "Hi" or "Sam, I'm glad to be in the office today"!
Fight the man and join the 99% by calling out or using PTO on 9/9 to protest RTO changes!
BR reports have been available for years. Of course they know if you have swiped. We had an investigation going on a coworker in 2018 and she was playing games with leadership. They started pulling reports on her badge swiping into BR and discovered she had been lying to leadership on how often she was in the office. She was fired after they created a trail to get rid of her that included HR involvement.
@am if they’re tracking the why are so many people still employed? I work in the AJ location and half of the account management team have WPA’s and have NEVER stepped foot in the building- I wouldn’t know them if I saw them in passing…And in terms of collaborating ummm, we have no leadership there and what we have is horrendous. At the SR. Manger level - it’s comical that individual is like GEA - zero leadership skills . and the Supervisors uhhhh no comment.
Monitoring is done via a report of badge card reader swipes and CCTV at all bldgs, definitely the major hubs.
Customer visits count as "office days" according to Sam, and those can't be tracked with a badge swipe so everything in this post is BS scare tactics
The executive mind set "is if the job can be done at home it can be done anywhere" I've heard them say it. Anywhere = offshore.
RTO is a joke but consider the alternative.
They have an entire organization looking to offshore and out source anything they can.
All roads lead to sc--wing over the American worker.
Like most peoples teams mine is distributed and therefore I just coffee badge. As long as card swipes OUT doesn’t start, how are they really tracking? There’s video everywhere but that’s creepy!
Card swipes are absolutely monitored. Recently I went into a vz building and a half hr later my cell rang and it's security wondering why the fire alarm was going off and I was the last one to enter. It was a false alarm, but they absolutely knew.
@bd . Your card swipe is monitored and recorded .
Do tell exactly how this is being done? Badge swipes? LAN Connection monitoring? This statement with no details would likely mean there is none.
There is tracking for everything, been there for a long time.
It's a matter of what kind of leadership you have, if they choose to want and then use that information. All levels promote flexibility - just don't abuse it.
It could be worse, like AT&T....
This will allow for better collaboration among V Teamers. Embrace your attendance being tracked. It wasn’t an issue in 2nd grade, so it shouldn’t be an issue now.
It’s called a presence report, and that will not be rolled out until later this year. It’s for leaders who have resources who are located in different hubs.
How about putting a camera inside the truck for Monitoring and Tracking
VP will get getting a report and then filtering them down per director. This is a fact, believe it if you want. You do you.
New lows for Verizon. In person attendance is a KPI?, sign of extremely low tech job. Better work in McDonald/Home Depot/walmart.
STOP the scare tactics
HR is not actively tracked office attendance
Yeah, I'm not trundling in at master's beck and call. I'll do zero. How bout that?
