They are going to target older workforce and balance it with some young layoffs then rehire those young ones laid off a few weeks later due to a clause that tells them to stay available for 1 month or lose the severance.

@j5 absolutely!! I can see the leadership's math on this.. we save money this quarter to keep our bonus intact, and the age discrimination lawsuit will hit the books 2 years later when it is someone else's problem. Honeywell is a clown show at this point!

There is a 15% chance of winning any age discrimination lawsuit. They will claim the uncertainty of the tariffs and lack of orders (which is true that the orders tanked this quarter at our facility and were above target the last). This is very sad indeed.
