WF needs to clean house and get rid of so many worthless layers of managers doing NOTHING.

I've been both an IC and a manager at WF, and I can tell you, I work twice as hard as a manager. Being an IC is so much easier. Being responsible for other people's failures is not fun or easy. The work 'looks different' but it's not "doing nothing", far from it. This is why so many managers look for an exit ramp back you the "high level IC" type of positions.
Too many managers spending full work day scrambling to get data for their managers managers PowerPoint slides…so they hit all the goals set for a great bonus. In some cases threatening managers and their direct reports the loss of their own bonuses in order to get them to scramble faster……vicious cycle, in all manager levels….
Doing nothing and being paid, GOOD! Are any salaries coming out of your pockets? If not, MYOB!
There’s also a 1:20 ratio of worker to auditor—one person doing the actual work and twenty others meticulously checking for any possible error or turn of phrase. Truly an efficient use of resources.
More people in India doing nothing than there are managers that do nothing.
But without so many layers of managers who will stop the really important stuff from the common worker bees making it to the top so that senior leadership can claim they didn’t know about it?! Isn’t that the true reason for so many layers?

office based companies have bizarre, absurd titles for the thousands of managers they employ. Millions of $$$$$ for managers? Why? The debt could be solved so easily.

WTF are you "managing"? 1 hr a day of work that could be done by AI then doing actually nothing for the remainder of the day, every day and thinking you deserve >$100k salary? LMAO
Too many managers with less than 5 direct reports! Make that make sense when the goal is to get rid of people.
As an employee striving to do as little as possible, I love it! The more do-nothing employees we have at all levels, the more money WF wastes.

Maybe your manager. He/she is obviously not bullying you enough. How dare you speak this way. You should support your master. Managers are important in facilitating the crew -- to get the work done. If they weren't there then you wouldn't know what to do.
