Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

This slate of officers is perhaps the worst the bank and its customers have had to endure since the merger with First Star which created the banking franchise, clearly this is the most inept payments team leading Elavon since the bank bought the business in 2001, no payments people nor payments leadership and when they look for new revenue sources or income streams, they revert to the bank since they have no background or experience in the payments business, vicious downward cycle with Regions Bank and Santander UK bidding farewell and adieu with more about to pull the plug

At this point Howard Stern would be a better choice. This bank is dying.

GK needs to be fired by the Board. The MC is a joke - not one of them are revenue producers! They forced the revenue generating people out of the bank through job eliminations or early retirement. The street knows USB is a sinking ship!

The firm's early history can be traced to 1891, operating under the second-oldest banking charter granted in 1863 following the passage of the National Bank Act.

Amazing to see this happen. The core business problem is the asset has such low intangible value how do you sell it?

GK needs to rock the boat and Stern needs to manage all earnings calls (and the company).

Experienced and seasoned white guys over at Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, PNC seems to be doing ok with their businesses, steady growth and ongoing growth and profitability, Jane Fraser at Citi is ok, although faced with a different set of problems, US Bank primary problem is it has no leadership and seasoned banking experience, as evidenced by the constant crisis and ccontinued and pointless reorganization and the symbolic search for something that works.

This is 100% correct, the problem is he is too young yet for Wall Street, not in the chair long enough and he is a white male.
