Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Holiday Gift Card

Probably the sickest phishing effort yet by the firm. Seriously, on the run up to Christmas when I've been working my a-s off. These jokers have nothing better to do?

I missed the misspelling but got the Michael Scott - but the real giveaway was that Wells wouldn't be so generous.
I agree with the OP: sort of in poor taste.

There are real phishing emails that get through.

The whole point of the exercise is to identify those who put the bank at risk by being susceptible to phishing emails and get them into training classes to be more observant and not introduce risk to the bank.

I'm with the OP on this one. Doesn't matter how obvious these may or may not be (I never watched the Office and had no idea who the F**k Michael Scott is!). Easy to miss when your in box is jammed with external content containing emails (the big tipoff according to the enlightening training)! Complete waste of time, energy and corp resources. When was there ever a REAL phishing email at WF? That's right, never! Click on a couple of these and get a needs improvement on your review which gets you $0 pay increase for 2 years! Now you're being rated on something that has absolutely nothing to do with what you're being paid for - YOUR JOB!

They totally mock us. They are desperate to terminate some people. Oh you clicked that fraudulent email? Bye!!! Make sure you run fewer errands this week 😘

Didn't click on it. Very obvious a phishing test as I noted in the post y'all getting a little defensive over this

It was from freaking Michael Scott. That, at the very least, should have made you take pause and chuckle. Don't get the irony? Then if you clicked on it, you kind of deserve it.
