I’ve not once had a positive interaction with a contractor. They lie, cheat the system, give false expectations to us and the customers. Please fix this.

Contractors are obligated, via the contract, to bury fiber optic conduit to a certain depth. Too often, they do not, and no one's inspecting their work.
A town's recent road-widening work put this on full display when they cut the conduit and the fiber cable in several places because the conduit was tucked in right behind the existing curb, about 3" under the soil level.

It will continue -- in facilties ops it makes sense - CW should take it all over , and they should just keep a Director to oversee it...I am union so not worried We just had our Manager resign here in Maryland -- she did not represent VZ well --- I am hearing alot of folks glad to see her go -

Contractor here. Verizon wouldn’t be in need of our skill set if you weren’t a bunch of uneducated mongrels. American workers are spoiled and India is the future. Donald Trump will never save you.

VZW against VZ employees is one in the same. What the heck are you talking about? There is one HR and one leadership. Contractors are just contractors and are not employees.
Y’all know that this’ll get worse before it gets better as the company wants contractors to make up at least 10% of the current VZ workforce before 2027. Ask any senior leader and their face will say it all.
