Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Process to remove a CEO from office

Is it entirely a BOD decision? Who has the final word? Investors? How much more do we have to put up with this sh$$ show?

I am ready to cast my vote if I get asked ….

You could all create a petition for the board of directors and a vote of no confidence in Hans and team.

Maybe if it gets 20k signatures or more it will be enough to get rid of the guy.

Hans won't be fired, but he either turns the stock around or his contract won't be renewed.

I think Verizon miscalculated that customers would care about 5g. I know people with 5+ year old phones. 5g is a business play, but even then, businesses are using 10+ year old systems, such as Point of Sale. 5g is the F22. Too expensive and unnecessary.

They need a new marketing approach, but I'm not sure what that is. Or maybe their own phone and free app store. For me personally, "Verizon. We do not donate to politicians or PACs." would get my business.

You get a proxy yearly which I'm sure you throw in the trash that votes on compensation. Pay attention

Hams is Chairman of the BOD. Investors can remove board members. Board members remove CEOs. So investors can threaten to remove board members and replace them with board members that will do what they want. Problem is getting the 51%. That is ten of billions of dollars in shares needed for the vote.
