Any truth to the Compliance department being told they need to be in the office 4 days a week starting Jan 1st?

Derek is leaving, doubt this has much to do with him. Almost certainly coming from above and the decision is being made now so as not to soil the new guys rep.
I can’t believe arrogance of some. I heard a senior director say publicly he doesn’t agree with the decision but this is what Derek wants.
What other areas?
So apparently no need for Dr Brent, he should be next to go,
@bb+1k4b68wv4 This is also happening to tech on the west coast
"covid, which is far in our rear view mirrors."
Really? That's contradictory to what the Cleveland Clinic has to say
https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/21214-coronavirus-covid-19
"But COVID isn’t “over.” It can still make you severely ill, cause symptoms that last months or years, and be fatal."
Better get going to set them straight! Be sure to bring all your research. Unlike this board, they won't tolerate baseless blithering.
Risk needs to reduce headcount fast without severance and I was told 💐 is going make everyone’s life he-l until they quit.
Literally tens of thousands of us were remote before the academic. Blaming RTO on it is an excuse.
Managers need to manage so we have to show our faces in the office.
Yes, director said it’s effective 11/1.
Anyone who does not currently work 4 days in ought to consider themselves fortunate. Realistically recall please that RTO was a byproduct of covid, which is far in our rear view mirrors.
Yes, we were just notified it is effective Jan 1.
11/01 for risk
Seems they don't need as many risk and compliance people anymore.
Yes, It will be implemented on 1/1/26
I just heard the same thing about Risk
I’m hearing a lot of stuff from many areas and they all say the same thing. I would say it’s most likely true at this point. It will be announced next week
