We should sell them our best, new product -- geofencing COU devices. Nothing creepy about monitoring your employees 24x7, 365. We're so good at product development here.

And providing buyouts for those unwilling to comply… If they offered a buyout here they would hit their headcount goal but nobody would be left.

ATT was hybrid long before covid. Quite a few folks were fully remote for almost 20 years. In office is just d-mb. If you aren’t doing your job then you should get eliminated. Thats how you deal with that. Plenty of companies still fully remote, it allows them to attract talent from all over.

when corporations want to cut headcount, they call for 5-day RTO. When they push 3-day RTO, it means they’re just following orders from the CEO's daddy @ the White House but at the same time keep talent numbers steady
