When do you think the hiring freeze is going to end?

Maybe internally. Look at the job postings… there’s barely any new roles being posted. I’ve had 3 roles impacted by a hiring freeze, now some of those teams are hiring etw’s instead because they can’t hire FTE’s.
What hiring freeze? My LinkedIn feed is full of people starting new roles at Nike since last week.
Many analysts project the next recession to last 12 to 18 months so I wouldn't expect the hiring freeze to end until 2024. There will always be selected hiring based on prioritized roles regardless of a freeze. Instead of wondering when the hiring freeze ends it might be more logical to consider when Nike starts layoffs. This holiday season is not going to be any better for Nike than all other companies who are seeing significant drops in sales and having to apply extensive discounting to move old, stale product. China isn't going to save the revenue picture this quarter any better than I did last quarter which was... Not at all. Expect things to get much worse around March when the numbers start to become clearer. This is the calm before the storm.
