@1bw
why does hdbs recycle their managers so much? i've never seen another company do it the way they do it there.

The wrong people will be let go. HDBS will continue rewarding and recycling the manager's that have driven PSL into the ground. Too many pet projects and travel to meet customers that don't care about meeting them. The antiquated design philosophies compared to peers prevents the PSL from improving. If they can't take a hard look at those who have been in charge while bits has been going downhill, they will never improve.

Any idea who will get let go? The floor is operating on a skeleton crew as it is. The office however...

There will be a new cut in November/ December (just heard). Not enough profit for H1B from that PSL

they've been going on for a month. 8 on the floor, 2 procurement, 2 meie, and a couple of technology managers, hiring has been frozen of course. not sure bout the plan, seems like they're following a halliburton wide directive to cut a certain %. wonder if this place will be shutdown.
