What’s the deal with the new badges they are giving everyone? Do they have new tech to scan into the buildings?

I hold my bowel movements until I'm in BR. I sign onto my laptop at my designated workstation, then head over to building 5 to let it rip. Sometimes, I have to go to the 2nd floor if the toilet paper ration has run out on the 1st flor.

They do this with every logo refresh, this time they waited a lot longer to get it done than usual.

@dw judging by the sounds coming out of the BR bathrooms there is no way only 5 minutes can be the flag point.
@dw I'm sure you're right about the first part, but don't be so naive about the connection to RTO reporting with this too! The timing is just too appropriate to ignore this.
Two things to also keep in mind..... some photos and badges are old, and need to refreshed, especially the pics. Also, with the logo change - time for an update.
The conspirators would have you believe that the new badges will be GPS tracked inside the buildings, with new sensors laid out all over, including the bathrooms. If you're on the can for more than 5 minutes, they will assume you are ducking work....
Given the timing of their delivery, with what's going on with RTO, it isn't hard to figure out.
It’s likely due to letting so many people go over the last 5 years and wanting to make sure they can ID current employees, for safety reasons.
