We're Better Together, but...

The cheesy RTO slogan of 'we're better together' is weird. It's basically:

"We're better together, but no one knows the difference unless a report is run."

If we're really better together, it should be obvious on its face. A report shouldn't have to be run to show the supposed advantages.

It's like the old saying if a tree falls in the forest but no one is there to hear it, does it still make a sound? If someone is getting their work done without RTO, is there any detriment?

Will 2023 be the year that CS or SP grows a pair, and simply tells employees the REAL reason for the RTO push?

Probably not, but one can dream.

Fun chain. I am doing my badge swipe one hour in and then out of here.

Ditto. I drive into the office, I do what I can to avoid distractions, and then I go home. No one there knows me and I don't know anyone, which is how I like it. No one in my group there and I don't have time to goof off talking about the weather with rando people.

This RTO cr-p has tanked my morale, honestly. I used to be a stagecoach t shirt wearing flag waving supporter of the company. Not anymore. I despise the current crop of execs. I can't listen to their BS anymore. It's all lies and stupid decisions. These guys have no business running anything and it's painfully obvious.

My personal goal is to not spend a penny when in office. I’m already spending time and money to get there. It’s not safe to leave the campus and I won’t support the sad overpriced on- campus offerings.

Not only a stupid policy but also possible trademark infringement. Maria Menounos has a show called Better Together. Charlie was probably at a gas station and heard her say it on one of those annoying pump video screens. Nothing original from this guy.

Many people have mentioned the tax break thing. I'm not sure I'm buying it. I mean, how would the city/state even know occupancy levels? Just alot 5000 SQ ft to each employee as their necessary work space and tell the gov that you're at 100% capacity 5 days a week.

You beat me to it. That's exactly it! I do my absolute best to brown bag lunch and just drink the free coffee on whichever floor has coffee that day. It's not "supporting local" when it's just Starbucks and Chick-fil-a open anyway.

“We’re better together” is code for “Wells Fargo is better with the tax cuts and incentives given to them by state and local governments by maintaining resource draining offices and corporate campuses to line C Suite executives pockets while their employees eat cake”.. and queue mic drop.🎤

"We're better together", which is why we're getting rid of as many people as we can.
