Thread regarding Ford layoffs

There is no time to waste

While the leadership is enjoying their holidays, people like me, who gave their best to this company, will be furloughed. However, considering that I have a family that depends on me, and that the next year will be bumpy (I have no doubts about that), I will use this time to send as many applications as possible. It's worth trying.
The situation on the market is not ideal, but one should think positively. If you convince yourself that it is almost impossible to find a new and better job now, then it will be really difficult for you to actually find one.

I wouldn't call them leadership , maybe a few fat greedy pigs would be appropriate.
They will suck your blood to fill their pockets if they need to
Better to move.

It is common for many companies to furlough agency and PS over the Christmas break. If your not happy with you position at Ford, actually your best bet would be to look for another position at Ford. That does sound counter intutive, but it works.

You make it sound like you are getting screwed out of nowhere. Most agency and PS are furloughed over the Christmas break. It happens every year. If it is a hardship for you, you need to find a different job. Don't expect a Company to need temp workers when they are closed. This is the arrangement you signed up for.

Honestly you should have been doing that all year. After 2 involuntary layoffs in April and August this year should have been more than enough heads up to prepare and investigate your options. But better late than never I suppose, I wish you the best of luck and hopefully you will find something better out there.
