Why are you still working after your RIF? The company love tools like you. You get paid through your last day on payroll regardless of working or not working.
There was a guy who was counting days and thought he could call out the last 2 weeks without the paid time to cover it. His logic was that if he never returned in person he couldn’t be fired (?) Got termed for cause and didn’t receive his severance.
Yes make hans more money for him to blow away but fear not if everything goes to he-l. I will be ok I will have a 40 million dollar parachute to secure my well being fear not.

You’re not a dead man walking at all. You are closing a chapter with a very nice severance package. Verizon will have a tough time righting this ship with the wrong leadership. Wireless Will continue to lose business to t mobile and att and wireline revenue will continue its decline precipitously as it has over the past 5-10 years. Really good time to get out.
They can expect whatever they want. What are they gonna do if you stop caring? More paperwork for overworked HR to fire you early? Just stop doing anything.
