Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

EP as CEO asset servicing. What did they mean by this?

ASD as a LOB continues to get more bloated.

@1xio

She previously LED or previously has LED this business. “She previously lead this business” is nonsensical.

I know… University of Phoenix grad. Sigh…

I remember her AS client meetings the first time around... wasn't much more than telling clients that "Charlie is a visionary". No substance, regurgitates the usual talking points. And yes, was an extremely poor choice for CFO. That's on Todd though...all he had to do was check with his Barclays buddies.

They simply mean that she failed up. If you’re confused learn about DEI hiring. What you look like can be far more important than what you do or what you produce. It’s not about work any more. Image, skin deep picturing and posturing are the new normal.

She’s only the latest in a long line of unqualified CFOs. Thank god that we’re largely a simple transaction processor with no growth. There’s pretty much no way to sc--w it up.

It means she is the highest level office of that business line, which is the largest business line in terms of accounts, revenue, and clients. She previously lead this business and is heading back to make it great again!
