Too bad it's too late for the lump sum, but anyone on the pension plan looking for a severance package will get an opportunity. It is just a missed objective on a quarterly check in away.
Which proves that the ones who had the most to lose were LL4 and above. Us pions couldn't afford to leave.
8000 was a media number that Ford never confirmed.
I was the one in the other post that was about how man retired, and confirmed only 1000 did. Upper management are not happy about this number. They expecting 3000.
If you are a pension eligible employee I'd have a plan in place. Because they are coming for you.
This means another SIRP round Q1 to reach the total 8,000 number quoted earlier. For those still remaining, polish up the resume and start applying now, NOBODY is safe.
