Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

I just saw SKIMS line

and not impressed.

Seems like all they are trying to do is emulate Lululemon.

That game is well played out and perfected by Lulu.

As usual with Nike these days "it is dollar short and day late"

Looking at Nike's SKIMS line, my impression is that Nike is tired, burnout, unimaginative, doing things because they have to(like asking a child do a chore), unmotivated, clueless, directionless, lost etc.

Find it at factory stores in 10 months. Pathetic. Agree with the previous comment about all those involved can see themselves out.

So much for staying true to sport. Sounds like anything goes as long as it turns a profit.

@OP Nike upper management was selling SKIMS in Wall Street media and was talking it will be something special and help Nike to bounce from rut they are in now.

Well, cua, cua, cua, cua, cua It was major disappointment

Nothing says “return to sport” like announcing a new product line with someone who doesn’t work for her body but instead injects plastic in it!

Everyone involved in this partnership should be canned

Falling flat! No differentiator in product offering from Nike or for that matter SKIMS. This magic trick ain’t going to fix the company. Wonder if PK regrets voting for Trump.
