Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Sadistic company

Sometimes it feels like some of the decisions being made are there for no reason other than to make our lives harder. I think this leadership is sadistic and has turned Wells Fargo into a sadistic company. I don’t think anyone is still here because they want to be.

Saving a billion dollars a year on useless buildings would goose the efficiency ratio. How about that?

The company is poorly run, financial advisors are incompetent and clients deserve better. I know someone who brought his clients to Wells Fargo even knowing how much damage the firm has done. These moves are not calculated or sadistic, just the work of id--ts.

They’re trying to make their numbers via attrition and layoffs. And let’s be honest, if the percentage I heard is in the ballpark a lot of people are not really working much.

They want the efficiency ratio to get way better so the execs can get that huge chunk of cheese. They don’t give two sh@ts about us.

They want you to quit so they don't have to pay severance. It will get even worse moving forward. There's some upper managers who get a million in bonus for coming up with this kind of stuff.

Executives like Bridget with no college degree claiming to work at bell labs at its peak, w Nobel prize winners, sure.

They really don’t think about you as much as you think about them.
