What do you think what will happen with AI? Are tens of billions of dollars (we invested in it) ever going to produce any value for us? What about all other AI related companies and products? Do you see this as some kind of a Scam?

AI is a bubble bigger than dot.com bubble or 2008 bubble hiding real recession that is happening in rust belt states... Overhyped marked will crash in 2026 swiping stock value down by 80%. Hold your hats
Short-term gains is definitely overhyped, but in no means a scam. Just read an interesting article talking about how AI gains have tracked how the world changed with the advent of the personal computer and then the internet. It takes years to gain steam, but just like those two things, AI most definitely will change the way we work forever.
It’s real but definitely way overhyped. It needs constant human supervision and review to put out anything consistently usable.
The exponential gains we were promised have clearly not materialized. We’re seeing incremental improvements and sometimes even regression.
All in all, it will be a new tool for people to use and generally improve productivity, but the notion that it is going to take all of our jobs out of hand seems more unlikely by the day.
I honestly think a lot of these companies are going to have to turn tail and rehire a bunch of the positions they are gleefully laying off at some point.
The value is replacing human labor. So for every layoff you see, there’s the value.
Think of AI as nuclear we-pon,because It will be used as a we-pon. Hence the race. It will benefit the not us, but selected few up top.
We over estimate gains in short term (so it's hype) and we under estimate gains in long term (so it's not hype). In 30 years many things will work differently because of AI, the world will be different. There will be no major changes over next five years, there will be market losses and people will be like 'fu-k this, scam' - however, we'll slowly march forward and gradually make things better without hype. This is how the real change happens. The same happened with railroads, internet, etc.
Not a scam. Like the internet craze of the late 90s. Some companies will shake out and the rest will move on.
