@3r6 The only issue I’ve had is I only want ten hours a week and I usually get scheduled more. Store manager is best manager I’ve ever worked for. I enjoy it, consider it a hobby lol.

I’ve worked for Belk for two years as side hustle and I enjoy it. Great team, flexible schedules, decent discount.

Are you a host here? Are you in charge who are “welcome to post”? Wow, even “corporate shills” allowed?? If people got education and skills and have higher levels of responsibilities then you, you label them? I wish I had a job 9-5 in a nice office, but I don’t hate those who got there just because I didn’t.
I agree, I made many friends at Belk and we all like each other, but as far as the company and culture, it was way downhill since I started in 2011.
Belk has went downhill since I started with them. But most retail jobs have followed suit. Staff less, take away benefits etc. I do fulfillment and like my job (as far as jobs go) but the truth is, if I hate my job, then I should look for another instead of just complaining. I went PT because of taking SS early. I think it stinks that Belk now doesn't guarentee PT hours or allowed acquired PTO any longer but most retail companies have adopted this. I like Belk because of the friendships I have developed over 11 years.
