I'll just say it.
These stores could change their flow upside down and inside out...it still wont change your sh**ty, nonexistent Selling Culture. Macys only solution to falling sales are floor moves. Change that!
Especially considering the flow and assortment at most Dillards have remained consistent for decades. Thats department store excels at customer service, those associates literally greet me at the door. The insanity of floor moves every quarter has got to stop!! Who isnt getting their job right the first time?!

Will there be more cuts next week?

Who's to blame? Ten years ago, the idea of something like this happening to Saks would be laughed at. It takes especially incompetent leadership to bring us to this point. We're losing our jobs because of them. This makes me both so sad and angry. This could and should have been avoided.

We make good money, have great foot traffic, but just a few of us are keeping things running. The others don't give a damn and all they do is pretend to be busy until they can leave. I'm tired of making money for people like that. Close us down. I'll be okay. Let them try and find another place where they'll be able to work like that.

According to the Triangle Business Journal, the men’s store is closing and merchandise will be crammed into the main store. It will be a complete trashy mess!

Just curious if anyone other flex employees are being told they must work a minimum of 15hr a week for the Holidays?

The South Windsor Warehouse is closing does that mean the off price backstage going away? Personally I find Backstage a distraction. Macy’s should make “Last Act” sections a major markdown to get product out of the stores asap.

Why do New Jersey full line Macy's always seem to avoid the chopping block? This has been the case since 2017. It is the market the stores are in?

They spent millions on something that won’t drive anyone to the store yet they can’t pay us hardly anything

What exactly does an MBA do all day? Mine sits in her office looking at the computer. Even on weekends rarely ventures outside of her office. Is there that much desk work involved with the role?

I couldn’t believe that I have been shopping at this store in northern Virginia for over 20 years. And anytime I had a return I would go to the customer service desk, especially if I was in a hurry or on a lunch break from work. The new people they hired are so inapt.. They don’t know how to do returns or they refuse to do returns and all they do is laugh and giggle behind the desk. They made me go all the way up to the third floor to return a dress and a lipstick that I bought ONLINE. I will only shop going forward at Bloomingdales. That store has really gone downhill with a caliber of people and employees that they hire very disappointing

Can someone list "First 50" Initiative stores that have been revamped? Is there any in Massachusetts or New England region?

I have visited Nashua and Manchester NH locations and I hope these locations are not on the list. They need help, and corporate needs to step up to meet the needs of the store associates.

Just saw online how our technology is way behind others .who will gladly take up our sales we could make. Or be assisted with to get extra walk ins our slow stores.
I expect the worst of Saks Global and they have delivered accordingly
