Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

FIG

We are a current FIG client, and while the volume of recent comments and the decline in stock price are concerning, they are unfortunately not surprising. Our experience with Fiserv’s service and support has been extremely disappointing—among the worst we’ve encountered. The products offered are outdated and lack the functionality and efficiency that competitors in the market provide. Based on our conversations with Fiserv clients, there appears to be a widespread eagerness to transition away from Fiserv, which is truly unfortunate but probably the best option.

This is either one of the former execs or a good friend of them, calling the business unit FIG.

@b0 You Pay for what you get! Pure and simple. Lack of resources, lack of Talented resources and the lack of Fiserv not updating/enhancing/replacing old platforms is a Leadership problem. Then top that off with getting rid of thousands of knowledgeable resources that knew how to maintain those platforms.

@d7 Give it time, you will join them soon. FB, KKR, and company destroyed Fiserv! Those that remain are just survivors.

The sad news is Stock price continues to sink like a rock in a muddy pond. If someone does sell their stock, it will be a great year to take a Loss on Capital Gains.

I'm wondering which 2024 C-suite posted this. It's a guessing game of which one will stoop lowest. Which is so difficult!

Anyone named Srihini and Arun should already have been gone.

@pf Yup! If you look at the former exec's past, it actually makes sense.

@kx Jealousy happens in corporate america? Really?

This is literal evidence of a former exec jealous of ML and attempting to manipulate investors with fraudulent claims as a "current FIG client"

HA Ha ha yeah we believe you are “a Fiserv client”!!! Just another employee who thinks he is very clever. We can see thru this pal. You might fool some of the bathroom stall hogging boomers here but we see you. Banks are Fiserv because it has the largest infrastructure. Pretty much cards all over the world use Fiserv. Yeah, let the client go ahead and get another vendor. Who will that be??? Fiserv is too big to fail!

@OP Serious product Performance issues exist, perhaps due to inadequate/improper internal testing prior to the release.

At the end of White Fang, the main character yells at White Fang and throws rocks at him to drive the dog away. This is in White Fang's best interest of survival. The main character is trying to help by driving the banking customer away from Fiserv so it can better survive the coming winter.

@OP we are actively re-hiring people with the knowledge that left or were laid off in hopes to slowly come back

@OP As you’ve probably read also this was all caused by the previous CEO who destroyed Fiserv in just 5 yrs what took 20+ to build.

The new CEO gets it but it’ll take some time to clean up
