I feel sorry for the women who have tried to advance to the upper echelons of this company. Marni, Christy, Tami, Nikki, Manon, on and on. They get close to the top, then get blamed for some misstep, and they're gone. Like they try to grab onto the glass ceiling but get their hands cut and slip off.

Perhaps if they actually good at their jobs, they could have succeeded. But you can see the results.
I mean, all those positions are pretty fu----g high. Boo hoo Tami only made $8 Million a year as EVP while Hans makes $20M as her boss, CEO? Those are different titles and they are paid accordingly.
Also, how many men would ever reach the title of EVP? I don’t think there’s any “shortage” of opportunity there.

A neat idea would be promoting people on merit, not chromosomes. Lots of people depend on this coming many for a living. Get the right person. Simple.
