Divesting a lot of noncore functions. How do we compare to other telcoe companies? Understand each is structured differently with different cost equations. I.E believe our wireless unit is the only one unionized courtesy of Whitacre. Just wondering if that is the metric that we are driving towards.

Too late to sell Telco (copper) side of the business. Verizon tried that with Frontier and that was a total sh-t show. With declining revenue over each quarter, T will need to make a decision soon to make it profitable via leaning it out or spin off like what they did with DTV/WM. No sustainable for Wireless to carry Telco any longer.
Mobility is not the only unionized T workers
Thought that Verizon still maintained copper in the Eastern part of the US. As far as significant raises what is the difference in pay. Knew a few of their techs in Texas back in the day and believe it was pretty comparable.
Who would T sell copper network to?
Verizon no longer has copper. T-Mobile is owned by DT in Germany. So it’s not easy to compare the telcos. One thing to note is that Verizon employees do make more than T employees. If we need to downsize to make revenue per employee comparable, then we should be seeing significant raises to also be comparable to VZ.
It’ll never happen, but it’s truthful.
