CIB Operational Risk Team

Does anyone have any intel on this team? I have heard that this team is relatively new (approx 70 people) and they are looking to grow. However, based on my internal research it seems like this team is staffed up heavily to help with the RCSA effort. This team is supposed to manage the operational risk of CIB as well and there seems to be a lot of overlap with what the business controls team do for CIB

My biggest concern is with moving to a team that is primarily focused on RCSA because it is very obvious that the firm is throwing bodies to get this program done and will most likely eliminate such roles once the RCSA effort is complete

Any intel/tips would be appreciated.

Worst group in the company. Every single metric they are an outlier. Run from them.

Save yourself if you believe in being good because if you don’t agree with the shadiness then they make you the problem! Stay away! Toxic management here ! People die here and they show no gratitude to people who’ve been loyal for decades!

Based on this bank's track record for the past 10 years, any job on the risk team would be a fake one.

CIB Op Risk is a dead zone. Avoid it like the plague.

Sounds like a shadow Control function designed to be short term. I'd stay far, far away.
