Lay-off and Increase in Terminations

January - February Management plans on laying off 10% and terminating 20% in 2023. Consider it a blessing. After 20 years of this toxic place the only thing it was good for was to allow me to work from home so I could spend more time with my kids. I have a confirmed federal lawsuit against UHG and working on a second one. After the federal court is done with them, I'll file another lawsuit for pain and anguish! $$$$ G.O.A.T

They say these terminations, (because are you really expecting to get a call back or do you want one) we’re not planned. Funny- we were asked to start cutting costs back on NOV 22. Not to me e toon the shady sh-t they had us doing doing during common reviews by not giving people what they earned based on the KPIs of their departments. It’s going to implode on them tho because all of this offshoring is going to cost them in the refi ding they’re gonna have to do if they get audited. The offshore quality is in the tank. 😳

I think it’s too bad that I actually have to say this, but Is it really necessary to get so nasty and belittle our co-workers? We are all here because we’re in fear of losing our jobs. Everyone comes to this forum with different job and life experience. Let’s keep that in mind and treat each other with a little patience and respect. Everyone is worried and stressed out enough as it is.

FYI - To the id--t who made a comment about the attorney in a strip mall.... DOJ stands for Department of Justice and if you are educated enough to get that much evidence against UHG to get the FEDERAL attorney to look at your case then you truly are the G.O.A.T! Go get'em! Confirmed - I am an ECS employee laid off today. 5 benefit processors and 2 supervisors. They kept all their 13 contractor employees though. Cutting fat where they can’t afford to and keeping seasonal staff is absurd.

I met a group onsite that came from Change HC - they felt they have been stripped of positions so badly by the 'CEO with the eyebrows' the past few years they are already struggling to stay profitable and retain talent
