Severance

For the people who were let go. Did they notify you with a HR call or through email. We are starting mission 1 in April and will find out In March who is getting get go. Was just curious how they are going about the process.

For our team, the DM called to let people know they were safe. If you have a teams call with the RDR and a HR person, then you’re being let go. They let me know 3 was before territory change then I had to stay 3 more weeks to help with the transition to get my severance. They did provide me with an age list of people being let go but not an ethnicity list. Out of 11 sales reps on my team, 6 of us were white males- 4 of us got let go.

I didn't have to ask for the information. They shoved it to me in the severance documents.

Make sure to ask the demographics etc of those let go, they have to provide this to you by law!! Age is a biggie to look for, gender, race, religion, etc.. Anything protected under law by the EEOC they must provide the details of who was let go by numbers! If they don’t, there is a good reason, and this should make you want to know more! Guarantee it is that they are letting go those with more tenure since they are paid more, which means they are likely older. Over 40 and you got a good age discrimination case! It’s astonishing how many people let these weasels get away with things….not me! You are your best advocate! And if they say it will take time to get to you and they pressure you into signing the releases so you can get your severance….do not sign!! You have the right to this information!! You have the right to make an informed decision! Don’t let them bully you!

When I had my team call, it sounded like the rdr and hr guy was reading from a script. I was let go and when I asked them what was the criteria of someone staying and someone going. These guys had basically no answer to give and kept changing the subject.

You will be on a team call. If you get an email after team call your gone. They have a call with you hr and rdm in the am to let you know you 30 days your severance etc.
