EN is full of politics and nepotism. no chance to grown on merits. I am being working with them for last 4 years, sorry to say - some of the PA level guys have no clue what they are talking about. wonder how they got promoted to that level. Phew...
Yep that nepotism tribal culture in the non-Meraki EN not a place to grow. Go to SF Meraki office. See the diversity, the motivated teams, leaders that inspire and you can actually understand when they speak.
As someone who is knowledgable of what happened here it’s 100% personal and not business related.
They moved critical leaders in place from the Meraki BU before his departure.
Aka ELT sees Meraki as the future.
Sorry the guy is a soft nerd and not able to make a hard decision. Similar with most the meraki guys. Too much feel-good.
Amazing someone like him got the job in the first place. We need experienced technical networking people. But they’re all at Arista now.
Yeah that Meraki stuff was not going well. Move all that Meraki to Smart licensing, DNA Center, and vManage - customers are gonna love it.
