@5ils+1kEpB68o Yes, round 4 will be coming. Look for it end of February to beginning of March to offset some merit increases that would to go out in spring. Truly ugly business practices.

Props to the OP for the accuracy. This is the only place to find out what is going on with this POS company.

I heard it was mostly field service and 170 for the number. Not sure how accurate the number is. I'm sure it was spread across multiple states to avoid Warn notices. Wish it was 171.

Which departments in IGS got RIF? I didn’t hear anything today. Was it project engineering? Or R&D?

Not being a smart a$$ here but after living through this sort of action I'd also offer condolences to those who didn't get hit.

After a couple of RIFS on the team I was on I called my manager and told him if there are more he best select me because I won't be one of the remaining ones. And I wads serious. The next 12 months were just horrible and then I took another job.

Problem solved - for me. That team is still struggling.

I know of one who was let go in SPS. They didn't accept the voluntary RIF when it was offered. I would accept a RIF in a second if offered. Blessings to all who got cut.

Any word from other SBGs besides SPS?
I am hopeful to get picked and I would volunteer if they asked.

It seems like I'll just have to decide which month I will leave. At least I have decided on no more OT. Just not worth it.

I guess it is now time to start checking Teams to see who was laid off. Unfortunately, I'm still here.
