Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

My manager is a disaster

They think they are a great manager. They have obvious and deep insecurities. (Hello botox, lip fillers, and crash dieting.) They are always spaszing out, and feel threatened by other women to the point of attacking them and making a scene ... and yet they NEVER do this with the male team members even though similar issues and projects arise. They punish female teammates by isolating and overloading them and not sharing knowledge or looping them in as a true leader would.

Yes, I am looking for a new job. I loved this job until this new reporting structure. Bummer.

This team is a nightmare and I wonder how many others are like this?

I can only think the people down voting this do so because thry recognize themselves in it.

I know so many managers who fit this description. Until you’re around someone calm, composed, and acting with maturity, it makes the whole team unsettled. You can’t even hide from them with free noise cancelling AirPods.

Is your manager's pronoun "they?"

The women at Nike are way bigger cockblockers than the men are. As a female I’d always rather report to a male, way easier to work with.

Ongoing issue at Nike. Have seen this in many groups. Brutal.
