All I know is they are trying to keep this under wraps for now and they seem to be doing a good job of preventing leaks because nobody else seems to be saying much about it. This came up after the conversations around "capital investment reduction" and Verizon sees this as way to continue bullish sentiment towards the company and satisfy shareholders. All I know is that 15-20% is the overall target, I haven't heard the split between wireline or wireless. Another post on here seemed to allude to those numbers but I am not privy to that info. I do know for a fact layoffs will be rolling out and that 15-20% overall reduction in force is the target.
Any idea when?
The numbers posted earlier this week are close to accurate. But this is happening very soon. Total headcount will be reduced by 15-20% by EOY.
