Indirect Account Managers

Is this the year indirect account managers are eliminated or outsourced? Att outsourced years ago, tmo I’m not sure. The position isn’t side by side selling anymore. How long does Verizon hold on to that position?

On the flip side, if more corporate doors are turned over to indirect maybe they are still valuable. Maybe our systems are too terrible to get rid of the position. Maybe they still need it to absorb all the escalations, promo fallouts, merch issues, brand standards, ect.

Any rumors floating about this position and cuts this year?

I could see it going either way. The job is not as influential as it used to be because agents have their own focuses and we are more of ops support now more than anything. I think that weakens the job security

But i don’t know that Verizon wants all the issues that stem from Indirect to go through care or our actual ops teams. Maybe they need us to head of those issues locally

Account managing and side by side selling makes no sense. What a joke of a account management job

It would be the d-mbest move to remove indirect managers of they continue moving corp stores over to indirect, with that being said they would probably do it with this leadership.
